I always recommend a trial to my clients if it’s their first time working with me, here’s why:

1. The second time you do something in general, it’s always going to be an improvement from the first. Same with makeup. I can get familiar with the contours of your face, your skin, your best features and improve on details for the day of your event.
If the first time we’re meeting is your wedding day, chances are you’ll be stressed by other factors and feeling pressed for time. You’ll ask for “natural” which could mean something different to you, me and your helicopter parents.

2. When I’m able to do a trial with you on a more relaxed day, that gives me a chance to go over your whole look: dress, hair, jewelry, color scheme, vibe. It gives us time to actually collaborate and try out some different options. I want to create something that fits you and is beyond expectation. Trials allow me to go back and review photos to see what can improve or make it pop!

3. You can test out the longevity of your makeup. My kit is stocked with tried and true products for every skin type and tone, but it really gives you the chance to see how the products work for you specifically and give me that feedback prior to the event so I can plan accordingly & get it perfect!

4. Lastly, TIME!! If it’s my first time with a client, I like to block an hour for us just in case there need to be any changes. If we do your trial, I guarantee I can cut that time in half & make it look better every time. Now you can drink champagne with your friends and take a second to breathe before your big moment ✨
